Who is the better player:
the one who plays 14 twelve set matches, wins them all 3-1 and builds up a set difference of 28 having won an average of 75% of their sets;
or the one who plays 7 twelve set matches, dropping only one set and builds up a set difference of 26 having won an average of 93% of their sets?
I have included both ways of measuring performance in the table but, so that nobody can appear just once, win all their sets in an easy match, never play again and stay top of the performance tables, in order to appear in the percentage tables a player must appear in at least 25% of the team’s matches.
